Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Fuel Meter, released as Гориво Метар (Gorivo Metar) — the mobile application and the website at gorivometar.mk (together, the "Service"), published by Bearacle LLC. By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

1. What the Service Is

Fuel Meter displays the maximum retail fuel prices set by the Energy Regulatory Commission of North Macedonia, a breakdown of the components of those prices, historical price data, filling station locations, and calculators built on that data.

It is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the Energy Regulatory Commission, any government body, or any fuel retailer.

2. Prices Are Indicative

• The prices shown are the maximum permitted retail prices published by the Commission. Retailers are permitted to sell below them.
• Prices, breakdowns, and station information are provided for information only and may be incomplete, delayed, or incorrect.
• Always check the price displayed at the filling station itself. Do not rely on the Service for a purchasing, commercial, or financial decision without verifying it independently.

3. No Account Required

The Service has no accounts and no sign-in. You do not register, and there is nothing to keep secure beyond your own device. See our Privacy Policy (Android) and Privacy Policy (iOS) for what this means for your data.

4. Acceptable Use

• Use the Service only for lawful purposes.
• Do not attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorised access to the Service or the systems behind it.
• Do not scrape, mirror, or systematically extract the Service's data at scale, or resell it as your own dataset.
• Do not use the Service while driving. Check prices before you set off or after you have stopped.

5. Third-Party Data and Attribution

• Price data originates from decisions published by the Energy Regulatory Commission of North Macedonia.
• Filling station locations and the map on Android come from OpenStreetMap and are made available under the Open Database License (ODbL). © OpenStreetMap contributors.
• The map on iOS is provided by Apple, and Apple's own terms apply to it.

These sources are not responsible for the Service, and the Service is not responsible for their content.

6. Price Alerts

If you turn on price alerts, we will attempt to notify you when a new price decision is published. Delivery depends on your device, your network, and the platform's push service, none of which we control. We do not guarantee that a notification will arrive, or that it will arrive promptly, and you should not rely on receiving one.

7. Price and Availability of the Service

The Service is currently free and carries no advertising. We may change what it offers, or stop offering it, at any time. We may also introduce paid features in the future; if we do, anything you are already using will not silently become paid without notice.

8. Intellectual Property

• The Fuel Meter and Гориво Метар names, the app's design, interface, text, and software are the property of Bearacle LLC and are protected by copyright and other laws.
• You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the Service without our permission.
• This does not restrict your rights in the underlying public data, which remains subject to the licences of its own sources.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, complete, or up to date, or that any price shown is correct at the moment you read it.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bearacle LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, or for any loss arising from reliance on a price, breakdown, station location, calculation, or notification provided by the Service.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we do, we will update the Effective Date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
